MedForce is a managed business field-force service. Accounts are provisioned for subscribing companies and their authorized users. This policy explains how information is handled when those users access MedForce.
Depending on the subscribing company's configuration and the features used, MedForce may process:
MedForce processes information to provide the company's requested field-force functions; authenticate users; enforce roles and company data isolation; synchronize offline work; record authorized attendance, visits and location activity; generate company reports; provide exports; maintain security; troubleshoot service problems; prevent abuse; back up and recover the service; and comply with lawful obligations.
Location is used for field-work functions configured by the subscribing company. MedForce requests iOS permission before using location. Continuous background location is intended for the Full Day work-tracking mode while an active work session is running. Visit Location Only does not require continuous route tracking and instead requests a location fix for the visit. Users can control iOS location permissions in device Settings, although disabling required permissions may prevent related features from working.
The subscribing company is responsible for deciding which authorized users may access MedForce, configuring permitted work features, providing any workplace notices or consents required by applicable law, and ensuring that the data its users submit is lawful and appropriate for its business purposes.
MedForce may use cloud hosting, database, networking, operating-system, mapping, security and related technology providers to operate the service. Information may be processed by those providers only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect it, or comply with lawful requirements. MedForce does not use the reviewed app for third-party advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.
MedForce is a multi-company platform designed to keep each subscribing company's business information isolated from other companies. The service uses authentication, company-scoped authorization, row-level security, tenant identifiers and other safeguards. Authentication secrets on iOS are stored using Apple Keychain. Internet-connected systems cannot be guaranteed absolutely secure, so MedForce also uses operational and audit controls to reduce risk.
Information may be retained while needed to provide the subscribing company's service and for reasonable backup, restoration, security, compliance, dispute-resolution or operational purposes. After suspension, expiration or termination, information may be retained for a reasonable period and later deleted in accordance with applicable retention practices and law. Deleted information may remain temporarily in protected backups, caches, logs or disaster-recovery systems until normal retention cycles expire.
Because MedForce accounts are managed for subscribing companies, users should normally contact their company administrator for profile corrections or company-data requests. The company or an authorized user may also contact MedForce support to request assistance with access, correction or deletion, subject to the company's authority and applicable legal/retention requirements.
Cloud and technology providers may process information using infrastructure located in jurisdictions different from the user's or company's location where reasonably necessary to provide the service and where permitted by applicable law.
MedForce is a business workforce application and is not directed to children.
MedForce may update this Privacy Policy when features, legal requirements or data practices change. Material changes may also require an updated company acceptance process where appropriate.
